It's a boy!
It's been two weeks since my husband and I welcomed a new baby boy to our family! I'm still having a hard time wrapping my head around having two little people in my house. I thought for sure I wouldn't be able to put my camera down with this one, but so far I've hardly used it at all. It feels strange to continuously snap photos on my phone instead. Pictures I know I won't edit or print but documentation of our life changes none-the-less.
In all my new found quiet time feeding and holding a baby while my oldest is at school, I found a list of seven must-take newborn pictures: 1) a hospital photo 2) the little details 3) something to represent how small they are 4) sibling love (of course!) 5) baby eating 6) baby and dad 7) a family shot. I'm proud to say I have at least knocked #1 off my list and I have #5 taken care of but won't be sharing that with the world anytime soon. I thought having a list to work from might spark me to pick-up the camera again and turn the lens on my newest little. We'll see how it goes!
