52 Weeks
I've never been one to set new year's resolutions. Resolutions always seem like a way to disappoint yourself. Instead of resolutions I have a lot of goals this year. Several that likely look a lot like everyone else's goals...loose weight, eat better, exercise more, yell at my kids less. Most of these are going as you'd expect. In addition to personal goals, I also decided to set some photography goals for the year.
I questioned, how I could challenge myself and my skills. Winter is the prime time to feel a creative drain, but also the best time to work on growing a new skill. So I came to my 52 weeks.
52 weeks you ask...yep, the number of weeks in a year. 52 photos or themes for a year. Ideas and themes to stretch my creativity and try new techniques. Just like my personal goals, I'm already a bit behind. My first challenge...a self portrait. One to start the challenge and another to end the challenge. More to come on the portrait. It's oddly harder than one might think to take a cute, creative, fun, etc. picture of yourself.
